Membership Philosophy
A member is an individual or organization (e.g. company, unincorporated organization, institution, for-profit or not-for-profit corporation, partnership, governmental entity or otherwise) that has been granted membership to the Indian Nurserymen Association according to the stipulations of the Association bylaws and the guidance of this membership manual.

Membership recruitment and retention is arguably the most important job in association management. To a chapter or state leader the importance of membership in the INA is very clear and the benefits are obvious. INA’s membership criteria are intended to ensure that the organization is made up of organizations that are dedicated to advancing the horticulture sector in India.

Article IV of the Indian Nurserymen Association bylaws provides an overview of the Association’s membership. The bylaws stipulate that the Association has members who have voting rights. However, the various terms and conditions regarding Association membership have been determined by the Governing Council in its sole and reasonable discretion.
